Last week the release team at Catalyst issued the first release candidate for the open source ePortfolio system Mahara. A number of new features will make it into the final release in the second half of April.
Highlights are the replacement of the Flash-based media player for the Video.js HTML5 player, and the display of Open Badges. Several more features as well as bug fixes will be released providing users with a better experience.
If you want to find out what Mahara is all about and how learners in your organisation can benefit from it, we invite you to join us for a free 2-hour introduction session on 28 April 2016.
Catalyst is the main contributor to Mahara and has been the release maintainer since the project started in 2006.
