Mahara 17.10: Advancements in reporting

We released the latest version of the ePortfolio platform Mahara on 30 October 2017. Mahara 17.10 comes with a number of new features for learners, educators, assessors, and administrators.

One of the biggest additions, funded by the AAIM Project (Advanced Analytics in Mahara), is the new reporting engine. It consolidates existing statistics and user reports and comes with five new reports that collect more detailed data. The AAIM project, a collaboration between Dublin City University and the University of Sussex, seeks to build a tool to provide high quality learning analytics support for Mahara and conduct research into its effectiveness.

Please read the community announcement for more information on the release or watch the video Leap to Mahara 17.10  for a quick overview of the new features.

Catalyst has been the maintainer of the Mahara project since it began in 2006. Since then, regular releases of Mahara provide new features to the community and improve the ePortfolio work around the world. Catalyst's clients are important contributors to our efforts to keep Mahara up to date as funding from them supports our community efforts and the development of new features. We would like to thank them and all community contributors or their continued support.
