PHP Developer - Australia - Melbourne

Catalyst IT Australia is part of a global team of skilled open source technologists. We specialise in developing, designing and supporting enterprise grade systems using open source technologies. We are growing fast and we're looking for people with potential who can become a robust and professional PHP developers. We are open to developers with varying levels of experience.

Of course existing skills are important, a successful applicant will have PHP and Git knowledge. Some of the other technologies we work with are Javascript, Mysql, Postgres, and Linux server and desktop environments (there are no Windows machines here). Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Moodle and Drupal will be looked upon favourably but not essential. Contributions to existing open source projects is a big plus, as is having an active Github account.

As part of our application process, we will offer a practical coding challenge for you to complete from the comfort of your own home or office, so you can show us what you can do.

This position is fulltime in our Melbourne CBD office.
